Many of you will know Ron from Sparkes Brothers Fishing Tackle & Bait shop off Cromwell Road, Grimsby. The shop is now closed down for tackle and bait supplies but Ron is still doing fishing rod repairs. After many years in the angling trade Ron has retired from working in the shop but will carry on his Fishing Rod Repair service to mend broken fishing rods in Grimsby and for customers further afield in Lincolnshire.
You’re welcome to contact Ron and take your rod for mending whether it needs just a loose tip eye re-whipping, a full set of rod rings fitting or splicing back together after being broken. You can post your Bust Rod but please use a proper rod-tube to prevent further damage.
